Mosquito-like midges about 3 mm long, their larvae are predacious. They control substantial populations of more than 60 species of aphids. Because these midge are nomadic, they actively seek out aphids, even high up in trees.
How it works
These midges ship as pupae which soon hatch. The resulting adult midges mate, find some aphids and lay eggs. The eggs hatch into small orange larvae which devour the aphids from within.
General usage
Greenhouses, interiorscapes, gardens, trees, fields. Use as a preventative measure to stop aphid infestations before they begin. Use as a control for light to heavy infestations of aphids.
