Initial consultation	A prerequisite for all new accounts. Includes a site visit, during which we measure the turf area, evaluate the condition of turf and soil, take a soil sample (for laboratory analysis), scout for pests and look at general aspects of the location (exposure, sun/shade, and so on). We charge $75 for this service and you receive two reports - an initial site report and a follow-up report with soil test results and notes. For pest evaluation only, we charge $50 (no soil test).

Organic lawn care II You mow/we feed	You (or someone else) mows according to the organic maintenance guidelines we provide. We apply organic herbicide and fertilizers at the right time of the season. We recommend a soil test (laboratory analysis) for all our customers.  The results usually don't change our basic program but can indicate important deficiences such as pH, organic matter, magnesium and so on, that we can then selectively correct.

Pruning Services
We are trained pruners, specializing in small trees and ornamental shrubs. Using only recommended practices, we prune shrubs and trees at the right time of year with the correct tools and methods. You won't catch us giving your yews a crew cut.

We can design gardens from scratch or help you redesign just part of your garden. If you are interested in creating a more environmentally sustainable garden, with less maintenance, feeding, and watering required, we can propose suitable plantings to accomplish this. How We Do It
We are experienced gardeners.   To nourish your soil, we use 100% slow-release organic fertilizers. To control weeds, we use an organic product - corn gluten meal - that is so safe, it's also used as animal feed! If you have pest problems, we propose effective biological and organic remedies. To tend your lawns, we use hand trimmers and quiet, cordless electric mowers.
