Blood meal is a dried blood product and is an excellent source of quickly available organic nitrogen. Contains 13% total nitrogen.
How it works
Soil organisms break down blood meal quickly and make the nitrogen available to plants.
General usage
Ideal for heavy feeders such as lettuce or corn. A good soil amendment for all plants that need generous amounts of nitrogen. Also useful for accelerating the composting of carbonaceous material such as leaves or straw.
Directions for use
Use as a top dressing and water in. Or mix with water and use as a liquid fertilizer
